What size solar system do I need?
When you answer some questions about your electricity use from your bill, SunSPOT will suggest the best system size to maximise the return on your investment. Then, when you map solar panels onto your roof in SunSPOT, you’ll discover what size system will fit, and the savings it will make.
Is my roof too shady for solar?
The premium version of SunSPOT is able to estimate the losses from your savings due to any shading on the roof. If you see dots on the image of your roof, your council has subscribed to the premium version on your behalf. If not,
you can estimate the amount
of shading.
Should I get a battery?
SunSPOT calculates the savings you’ll get from different sized batteries, and compares this with the cost. SunSPOT shows how many years it will take before the battery pays for itself.
How many solar panels do I need?
SunSPOT can estimate how many solar panels you’ll need, and where they should go, for the fastest return on investment.
